Increasing the efficiency of energy conversion and storage processes is a central building block for the success of the energy system transformation and the main focus of research at the Professorship for Energy Technology. Both lab measurements and comprehensive simulation models help to understand the underlying mechanisms in details and to identify improvements. The aim is to exploit these potentials through smart control strategies and to make a contribution to sustainable development. Together with industrial partners we are working on these targets.
